This handcrafted coffee table is a celebration of sustainability and form, inspired by the natural, organic contours of a pebble. Crafted entirely from reclaimed timber offcuts too small for another purpose—ranging from rich mahogany to soft pine—it brings together a diverse palette of textures, tones, and histories into one cohesive piece. Notably, the mahogany was salvaged from an old staircase and gifted to me by a fellow woodworker at my shared workshop, adding a personal layer of connection and community to the piece. The flowing, asymmetrical shape echoes the erosion-sculpted curves of river stones, inviting touch and contemplation. Each segment of wood tells a unique story, and together they embody the beauty of renewal, craftsmanship, and nature-inspired design.
