Plank is another exercise in “quick and dirty” making. The timber came from a second-hand material shop in the city—I bought it without a plan, drawn to the natural edge and wanting to preserve it. Later, I came across two beam offcuts and decided to combine the three pieces into a simple bench. The process was fast and intuitive, with no cutting required. This piece is a reminder that making your own furniture can be straightforward: it’s often just about seeing the potential in what’s already there.
